About the Chronicle

The Alanson Village Chronicle is a free newsletter, hosted by ghost.org, that keeps neighbors connected to local news, events, meetings, and community notices.

The 8- to 12-page monthly interactive flipbook newsletter arrives by email the first Tuesday of each month from fall through spring.

During the summer months of June, July, and August, the newsletter is published weekly as an inline newsletter that places its full readable text, stories, and images directly inside the email message.

Jule Peurasaari of Key Creative began managing the Alanson Village Chronicle in spring 2011, when it was still in print format. In 2014, it moved to social media, and in June 2026, it launched as an email newsletter.

Your free subscription helps keep the Village Chronicle going and supports our efforts to share helpful, local information with the community.
